Bhangra is a dance of joy, strength, energy and grace. It is a traditional folk dance from the Punjab region of the Indian subcontinent.
Bhangra has become a global trend which combines the joyful dance with calorie burning cardio workout. The music is designed for everyone who knows how to dance or not. As long as you know how to jump and smile, it’s a fun workout that will leave you with a good mood!
For whom is Bhangra suitable for?
The program is meant for anyone who wants to try something new and get some exercise in return to lift your mood. The teaching style is interpretive, flexible and focuses on freestyle movements depending on comfort levels of everyone in the class.
The class is specially designed for people who think they can’t dance and are not physically active.

The dance form is designed as a solo dance and fun group movement routine. You will learn and understand the traditional dance steps and do a fun filled dance choreography to the beats of Bhangra music! The moves are progressive and evolve from less intensive steps to high tempo steps to help learn the traditional folk dance depending on the participants comfort levels.
What to expect?
In each course we choose a fusion song and a classical song to dance on. Each class has a goal to improve body flexibility, understand the rhythm of steps and slowly make 1 or 2 full minute dance choreography in class. You will learn to dance on the traditional & modern fusion beats of Bhangra music.
What do you need?
Comfortable fitness clothing, shoes, water, towel.
Sometimes when the weather or mood is nice, we also dance in the city.
